How am I going to do this??

That is a very good question. So far my plan revolves around three focal points. Swing, Body, Mind. I am going to continue on building a golf swing that can holdup in those tough moments that either make or break a round. I am going to actually do physical conditioning so that I can squeeze every inch of distance out of my frame. Lastly, and most importantly, I am going to conditioning my mind to stay focused, go through its routine, and accept outcomes.

My Story

I do not have one so far. It is what I am trying to create.

Meet the Team

I feel very Jordan Spieth right now, talking about the team. I am very tempted to say that I am a team of one. But, this project calls for honesty. To be compelling I must be honest. So, my team is made up of my wife and son.

Swing

Konnect Golf is my part of my team. They do not know they are part of this exclusive team. But they have an amazing facility, with Trackman bays. It is here, where the swing will be built.

Body

The physical conditioning is important. It is no surprise that distance is king. To play golf at the level needed to compete in the top tier amateur level, distance is necessary. I am still looking for the right mix of gain versus expense. A personal trainer, which would be ideal, is prohibitively expensive.

Mind

The mind is the toughest part. I think building the mind for the time being must be done on the course. Repetition of action, will normalize the fear and anxiety I feel when a shot counts. Books by Dr. Bob Rotella, are always a good starting point.
